Issues
Public Education: Hope voted against expanding the School Voucher program that has diverted over $45M from the state’s Education Trust Fund. Hope and Codi will fight for increased state funding for public schools and to lower local property taxes as a result.
Supporting Families: Hope voted to protect people who rent their homes from sudden eviction and to increase the minimum wage. Both Hope and Codi will fight to create affordable housing and quality childcare and to expand healthcare access.
Reproductive Rights: Hope voted for a constitutional amendment ensuring that abortion remains legal in NH up to 24 weeks. Both Codi and Hope will work to protect full reproductive freedom.
Environment: Hope voted for better emissions goals, keeping harmful chemicals out of consumer products, and expanding net metering. She will work to stop accepting other states’ trash, pause new landfills, and develop municipal solar projects. Codi promises to safeguard the natural resources that make New Hampshire so special—for today and for future generations.
Gun Violence: Hope advocates for firearms safety measures which are fully compatible with second amendment rights! She voted to consider red flag laws and expand background checks for firearms; supports a waiting period on all firearm purchases shown to reduce gun suicides by 70%.
Michael Aron and Jonathan Stone
Jonathan Stone: Incumbent; Former police officer with at least 14 internal affairs reports regarding his conduct. He lost his job in 2006 after he made multiple threats of violence against police department colleagues. See full voting record here.

Issues
Public Education: Jon voted for expanding eligibility for the school voucher program and against expanding eligibility for free school lunches; Michael and Judy support the voucher program and parental right to control school teaching.
Supporting Families: Jon opposes tax incentives for affordable housing and has voted against an increase in the minimum wage and expanded Medicaid. Michael and Judy do not state positions on these issues, but say they supports “freedom” and parental rights.
Reproductive Rights: Jon voted for a ban on abortion in the 2nd trimester. Michael and Judy state they are not seeking to change current law, but Judy voted against constitutional amendment.
